Trampa
About the Winery
Trampa is produced by the Ricardo Santos winery, one of Argentina’s most respected properties and the first winery to export Malbec out of Argentina in 1973. Trampa continues this legacy with a Malbec that comes from vineyards located in the prestigious Maipu region of southern Mendoza, Argentina.
Trampa represents a new generation of 3.0 liter bag-in-box wine. Here are a few reasons why we like BIB (bag-in-box) wines:
- An opened BIB lasts weeks longer and seals better than wine decanted from a conventional glass bottle, making BIBs ideal for at home enjoyment as well as for wine-by-the-glass programs in restaurants.
- BIBs have a lower carbon footprint than bottled wine due to their minimal packaging. This means that Trampa is environmentally friendly, which makes for a great selling point to the eco-conscious consumer.
- Because BIBs are lightweight and shatterproof, they are a great choice for camping, barbecues, or other outdoor gatherings.
- BIBs have excellent value. Minimal packaging and shipping costs translate into lower prices without sacrificing the quality of the wine, making it a bargain on the shelf. One 3.0 liter BIB is equivalent to four 750 ml bottles or 24 glasses of wine.
